You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Leader at New Horizons Childrens Academy to stimulate and engage our children in exciting play and games at lunchtime whilst maintaining their safety. A willingness to work as part of a team and seek positive solutions is essential.
Hours are either 11.30 13.00 or 11.50 13.20 Monday to Friday
The successful candidate will supervise pupils outside in the dining areas ensuring good standards of behaviour by following the Schools Behaviour Management Policy. The Lunchtime Playleader will assist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages ensuring tables are clean etc). They will provide welfare support to the pupils including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training) and will ensure School security regulations are upheld.
At the discretion of the school the Lunchtime Playleader may be required to work between 15 INSET days per an academic year to complete additional training and safeguarding update which may sometimes be outside of school hours.
New Horizons Childrens Academy is a Good school (Ofsted May 2022) with a threeform entry that teaches over 600 children from the local aim is to provide an education that meets the needs of all our children and we expect high standards of behaviour and a positive attitude to learning. Staff sharethis passion and are a role models for our pupils with their diligence and commitment. In turn our staff are supported with a framework that aims to bring the best out of them within an environment that encourages reflection and selfimprovement.
