Job Description:
Under clinical direction of Dr. Mounika Polavarapu Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health and Dr. Shipra Singh Professor in the Department of Population Health the Research Coordinator is responsible for managing the conduct of all delegated clinical trial procedures and activities related to Pediatrics and OBGYN. Performs all clinical research duties related to clinical trial and research protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
1. Bachelors of Science required
2. Clinical research experience preferred.
3. Masters of Science or related field preferred.
4. Experience with scientific writing.
5. Knowledge of clinical trials and IRB submission preferred.
6. Experience teaching/supervising students and residents preferred.
7. Prior laboratory research or technician experience desirable.
8. Knowledge of the methods materials and equipment used in research.
9. Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office: Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint required. Advanced Excel functions such as tables graphs statistical formulas and Basic editor is preferred.
10. Current active CPR certification at time of hire required and maintained.
11. CITI training through IRB.
12. HIPAA certified.

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Ability to work with minimal supervision in an organized fashion.
3. Capacity to work collaboratively with investigators in a multidisciplinary academic setting.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and problemsolve.
