Field Service Engineer
Job Purpose
Traveling both within the Uk and overseas you will provide service and upgrade work in customers sites for our aftermarket department.
Main Duties
- Provide handson mechanical / electrical field support for the full range of EMEA equipment
- Ensure: general service visits inspections equipment refurbishments rebuilds and upgrades relocation of customers existing equipment and customer training
- Troubleshoot and repair system failures or malfunctions
- Help with installation or technical support if needed
- When required supervise other engineers onsite
- Write service reports and document all maintenance and repair work
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide feedback on market information customers comments
Candidate Profile
- Mechanical background ideally with electrical skills as well handson profile
- Experience in installation or maintenance of complex equipment
- Experience of Food equipment and process would be appreciated
- Customer focus with excellent communication skills and a successful track record of developing external or internal customer relationships
- Good problemsolving techniques using an analytical approach
- Ability to work alone but still be part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Good PC skills (Word Excel).
- Willingness to travel (at short notice) and work on customer sites both in the UK and overseas valid Driving License.
