Job Description
The Azizoglu laboratory studies the bodywide control of organ growth and regeneration. We are seeking a research technician to perform research tasks in the lab as well as help with lab management duties. Research tasks will include mouse colony organization and breeding molecular assays (nucleic acid isolation PCR agarose gel electrophoresis RNA in situ hybridization) tissue collections and processing (dissections sectioning immunohistochemistry) microscopy (confocal and lightsheet imaging) primary cell culture (dissections for cell collections FACS ) and data analysis. This position will require animal handling.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Rodent handling ability Basic understanding of cell biology
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Prior experience in a biology or chemistry lab or in a related field Rodent handling experience Strong communication and organization skills
