Job Description
MAIN FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of a Cardiologist and according to previously defined procedures operates an echocardiogram machine to record cardiac functions. In addition performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms when needed. Performs stress testing and stress echocardiography assessment when needed.
EDUCATION: Two (2) year Allied health education program and/or Ultrasound Technology education program.
EXPERIENCE: Twelve (12) months of fulltime clinical cardiac ultrasound experience.
This position requires an RDCS.
