The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistryat California State University San Marcos seeks a parttime lecturer for Fall 2025 to lecture CHEM 401: Physical Chemistry Classical.
Course description:
Minimum qualifications:
- A Master of Science in Chemistry
- Experience teaching chemistry at the college level
- Per the California State Universitys OutofState Employment Policy the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSUrelated work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
Preferred qualifications:
- A Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry
- Experience teaching a course in analytical chemistry or instrumental analysis.
- Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity inclusivity and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.
Salary commensurate with degree level and experience:
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5507 $6008 per fulltime month
- CSU Classification Salary Range: $5507 $6677 per fulltime month
