Job Description

Responsibilities

The Patient Navigator Supervisor (Pharmacy) is responsible for leading and supporting pharmacyrelated patient navigator activities across University Hospitals specialty pharmacy services. This includes overseeing daily operations managing patient navigators (pharmacy) onboarding coordinating clinical implementation processes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless compliant and patientfocused specialty pharmacy care.

The Supervisor will also play a critical role in maintaining regulatory standards facilitating crossdepartmental communication supporting training and using data to optimize patient service workflows and pharmacy outcomes.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates or Bachelors Degree required; Bachelors preferred. Minimum of 23 years of pharmacy services or healthcare administration experience. CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification is required.

Strong understanding of pharmacy workflow medication distribution processes and regulatory compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong attention to detail organizational skills and written/verbal communication. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks lead small teams and drive continuous improvement. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced patientcentered environment.

Credentials required: Associates or Bachelors Degree

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods use a computer communicate clearly in English and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Regular use of office and pharmacy equipment is expected.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position operates primarily in a pharmacy or hospitalbased setting. Regular interaction with clinical administrative and IT staff is required. Occasional travel may be necessary.
