Job Description
The Compute Network Storage(CNS) group within Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is responsible for defining developing and operating cloud products consumed by our Application Development Partners across the firm. Our Product Portfolio includes Private and Public Cloud Platforms and a wide range of services such as databases messaging and telemetry.
As a Machine Learning Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platform (IP) Storage Product Line you will have the opportunity to leverage your deep knowledge of advanced Python programming and machine learning techniques to design develop and implement cuttingedge solutions. In this role you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create secure and highquality production code ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. This role is perfect for those with a strong foundation in programming expertise in advanced Python concepts and a passion for applying machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply machine learning algorithms and techniques to solve complex problems using libraries such as TensorFlow PyTorch or scikitlearn.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and design machine learning models and algorithms that meet the needs of our customers.
- Create secure and highquality production code ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Gather analyze and preprocess large diverse datasets to train and evaluate machine learning models.
- Apply advanced feature engineering techniques to extract meaningful insights from data and improve model performance.
- Deploy and integrate machine learning models into production systems considering the impact on upstream and downstream systems.
- Monitor and maintain deployed models ensuring their performance and reliability.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Python programming and machine learning techniques and explore their potential applications within the organization.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience as a software developer with a focus on integrating AI/ML solutions.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Expertise in advanced Python programming concepts including objectoriented programming decorators generators and context managers.
- Proficiency in coding in Python with a focus on machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Experience in machine learning model development including data preprocessing feature engineering model selection training and evaluation.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Desire to learn and grow within the field of advanced Python programming and machine learning.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Familiarity with AI/ML implementation in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of AI/ML deployment techniques including model serving containerization and cloudbased deployment.
