Insurance Sales Consultant entry level
Location: Northampton
Salary:DOE OTE circa 30000
Hours: 37.5 per week
- MondayFriday 09:0017:30
- One Saturday in four 09:0013:00
Our client a UKleading awardwinning insurance provider is seeking an Insurance Sales Consultant to join their Northampton team. This entrylevel role offers full training and ongoing mentorship delivering a solid foundation in insurance sales. The successful candidate will handle inbound calls generated by marketing campaigns and make outbound calls to prospects who have enquired online learning to gather customer information present tailored quotations and guide clients through policy options.
Key Duties
- Handle inbound calls from marketing campaigns and respond to email and online enquiries.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospects who have requested contact via ecommerce or email.
- Assess each clients insurance requirements and present clear tailored quotations.
- Advise on policy features cover options and premium calculations to secure new business and renewals.
- Record all customer interactions and policy details accurately in the casemanagement system.
- Issue client care letters policy documents and renewal reminders.
- Ensure compliance dataprotection regulations and company guidelines are adhered to.
- Liaise with underwriters brokers and other stakeholders to resolve queries.
The Candidate
- Confident communicator with a positive outgoing demeanour
- Some customerfacing experience (in person or over the phone); sales experience advantageous but not essential.
- Strong numeracy literacy and keyboard skills
- Proactive targetdriven mindset with a genuine willingness to learn.
- High standards of integrity discretion and quality of work
