Purpose of the position
As an Android developer at Next Lotto you will play a key role in continuously improving and developing our native apps Clever Lotto and Lotto Scanner. Your goal is to design highquality highperformance userfriendly Android apps that revolutionize the lottery experience for hundreds of thousands of users.
You will optimize existing features implement new functions and further develop the software architecture using the latest technologies. You will work closely with our team of frontend and backend engineers as well as UI/UX designers to ensure an excellent user experience.
With your experience in Kotlin Android SDK and Jetpack Compose you will contribute innovative ideas to take our apps to the next level both technically and functionally. Your contribution will be immediately visible in an app that is used by many people every day.
Your skills
- Degree in Computer Science Software Development or a related field or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Android development with Kotlin using both XML and Jetpack Compose
- Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns
- Attention to detail in developing and testing user interfaces
- Structured and independent working style
- Knowledge of using thirdparty libraries and APIs
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Problemsolving skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively
- Excellent English skills
Your impact in this role
- Develop new and maintain existing features of our native Android apps based on a complex multitarget project with both legacy XML UI and modern Jetpack Compose code
- Improve the software architecture using modern Android technologies and patterns
- Conduct code reviews
- Develop and optimize testing processes
- Collaborate closely with other frontend and backend developers as well as UI/UX designers
- Analyze and fix bugs and performance issues
- Ensure the quality and performance of the apps through continuous testing and optimization
- Implement new features based on user feedback and market trends
- Participate in regular team meetings and actively contribute to discussions on technical and functional improvements
- Document development processes and results
