Job Description

Adelphi is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide special education services within Port Arthur Texas. The ideal candidate will deliver highquality onsite occupational therapy to students ages 3 21 in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with a focus on promoting functional skills and school participation.

Requirements:

Must be licensed by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners

Prior experience working with students in educational settings preferred

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services per students IEPs

Conduct fine motor sensory and visualmotor assessments

Participate in diagnostic and IEP meetings

Consult with staff and families including assistive technology support

Provide training for teachers/paraprofessionals

Maintain accurate documentation and prepare Medicaid reports

Provide Homebound and Extended School Year (ESY) services as required

Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed

Any other duties as assigned.
