Position Purpose:
We are seeking a highly analytical and resultsdriven Strategic Business Consultant to work closely with the CEO and crossfunctional teams. This role will be responsible for building the Profit & Loss (P&L) structure tracking profitability optimising costs and driving business efficiency through automation and process improvement. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the development sales HR and finance teams to streamline operations and implement strategic initiatives that enhance overall business performance.
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University.
- Certification(s): Not mandatory but certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 6month to 1 year experience in Business Analyst role
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and eagerness to learn financial reporting to support business growth and sustainability.
- Assist in identifying areas to reduce costs and improve operational workflows under guidance from senior analysts or management.
- Work collaboratively with departments like Development Sales HR and Finance to understand business needs and support smooth processes.
- Support process reviews and learn to suggest automation or tools to improve daytoday business operations
- Help develop basic dashboards and reports to track performance metrics and support datadriven decisionmaking.
- Contribute to strategic discussions and initiatives by conducting research and providing data support.
- Assist in preparing updates and summaries of business performance for team leads and stakeholders.
- A degree in business finance or a related field is helpful but not mandatory. Curiosity adaptability and a willingness to grow are most important.
- Demonstrate problemsolving skills attention to detail and comfort with numbers and spreadsheets.
- Basic understanding or exposure to ERP systems Excel or analytics/reporting platforms (e.g. Google Sheets Power BI or similar).
- Show a proactive approach to learning supporting business goals and contributing ideas.
Requirements
- A degree in business finance or a related field is a plus but not required. What matters most is your analytical thinking motivation to learn and strategic mindset.
- Basic knowledge of business strategy and financial planning with a willingness to grow in areas like budgeting forecasting and performance tracking.
- Comfortable working with numbers and data. Eager to support cost analysis financial modeling and revenue tracking under guidance.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel Google Sheets and any experience with ERP or automation platforms is beneficial.
- Work across departments to help improve coordination and streamline business processes.
- Approach tasks with a proactive and solutionfocused attitude. Open to feedback and always seeking ways to improve.
- Support the creation of business reports dashboards and KPIs to monitor and analyze performance.
- Assist leadership with data and research to help shape operational strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Help translate numbers into actionable insights. Ability to explain findings in a clear simple way.
- A general understanding of payroll deductions and taxes (e.g. WHT GST EOBI etc.) is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Support financial reconciliations and ensure data accuracy in reporting and compliance tasks.
- Take ownership of your work seek learning opportunities and contribute to continuous process improvements.
