Job Description

Are you passionate about IT Support and looking for an exciting opportunity in Barnsley Our esteemed client a leading car dealership is seeking a dedicated 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their vibrant Customer Support team.

Job Role: 1st Line IT Support (Hybrid Working)
Location: Barnsley S71
Salary: Basic Salary 26416
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Monday Friday: 8am 5pm (1 hour lunch) Rotating Saturdays: 8am 12pm (Time taken back in lieu)

In this fulltime permanent role youll be the first point of contact for our internal colleagues providing topnotch IT support. Youll handle everything from logging and troubleshooting calls to liaising with other departments maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

This is a Hybrid role working on site and also from home (the first 6 months during probation will be worked from the office full time you will then move on to hybrid working from month 7).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional IT support via phone email and live chat.
  • Log and manage support tickets ensuring timely updates and resolution.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as starters and leavers checks and contract changes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to uphold exceptional customer care standards.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in IT Helpdesk and customer service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers of varying technical abilities.
  • Experience in a highpressure environment.
  • Punctual reliable and an outstanding communicator.
  • Minimum of 1 year of IT Helpdesk experience.
  • Full UK driving licence and proof of right to work in the UK.
