The Maintenance Porter is a crucial member of our property management team responsible for ensuring the cleanliness upkeep and maintenance of the apartment complex. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks assisting with repairs and ensuring that the property is a clean safe and attractive place for residents and visitors
General Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs replacing air filters and fixing minor plumbing issues.
- Assist with painting patching walls and other repair tasks as needed.
- Help with the setup and maintenance of common areas and amenities.
Groundskeeping:
- Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas including walkways parking lots and landscaped areas.
- Remove trash and debris from common areas ensuring the property remains clean and presentable.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal salting walkways and raking leaves.
Building Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain hallways lobbies stairwells and other common areas.
- Ensure that maintenance and storage rooms are organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any major maintenance or repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
Resident Interaction:
- Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns with a professional and courteous demeaner.
- Assist residents with minor inunit maintenance issues when needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations regarding property maintenance and safety.
