Job Description

A wellestablished electrical contractor located in New Castile DE is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team. This person will be responsible for calculating the cost of electrical construction for a variety of national electrical projects.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and evaluates project plans and specifications bid documents and other relevant project documents to identify what is needed for a project and to create a bid proposal.
  • Calculates the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available documents.
  • Analyzes projects for value engineering options while taking into account specific job conditions that may affect labor and material to be purchased and installed.
  • Identifies any inconsistent issues conflicts and other problems in the bid documents.
  • Identifies strategies to create bid advantages.
  • Establishes and maintains high performance and quality standards.
Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of electrical estimating experience on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Extensive experience with Excel Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Accubid AcubidPro preferred
