Job Description

The iconic DoubleTree San Jose property is currently seeking a careeroriented Security Supervisor to join the security team. If you have a passion for security and want to make sure your guests and fellow team members or staying and working in safe environment this is the position for you!

Our property boasts 505 guest rooms and 45000 sq. ft. of banquet/meeting space and is located with minutes of the International Airport and within 5 miles of downtown and all its attractions.

Ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule that would include mornings evenings overnights weekends and holidays.
  • At least 1year previous hotel Security experience.
  • Passion in providing memorable experiences for customers.
  • Be at least 21yrs of age.

Hourly rate for this role is $28.00.

What will I be doing

As a Security Supervisor you would be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks security risks and undesirable conditions.
  • Respond to emergency situations including but not limited to safety hazards fires medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.
  • Promote safe work practices.
  • Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
  • Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation as needed.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely friendly and efficient manner.
  • Assist with parking area oversight including directing traffic.
