Job Description

Associated Bank requires you to directly represent yourself and your own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process.

Responsible for conducting loan review analysis of a specific segment of loans (i.e. CRE C&I Specialized Retail) in the banks portfolio under direct supervision from Senior Loan Review officers. Responsible for evaluating compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies. Assess the condition and quality of individual credits based on financial collateral and documentation analysis quantifying metrics such as: debt service capacity leverage liquidity collateral coverage guarantor support etc. Determine the appropriate risk rating for Borrowers according to current Lending Policy and regulatory guidance. Compile and analyze data creating and updating spreadsheets and working on special projects as assigned. Promptly identify and report issues to Senior Loan Review Officers.

This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Candidates located in Milwaukee or Green Bay WI Chicago IL or Minneapolis MN are strongly preferred.

As a Loan Review Officer I for Commercial/CRE you will:

  • Conduct loan review analysis/testing of loans in the banks various portfolios. The individual will be responsible for: Evaluating compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policies; Assessing the condition and quality of individual credits based on financial collateral and documentation analysis; Determining the appropriate risk rating on accounts according to current Lending Policy.
  • Compile data creates and updates testing work papers which may include spreadsheets or software solutions. Must be able to identify and obtain relevant data. Analyzes compiled data to determine compliance with both bank and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and targeted risk assessments as directed by department management.


Education

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Finance Accounting Business or related field Required


Experience

  • 24 years Loan Review Commercial / Retail Lending Credit Administration or Regulatory Examination. Required
  • 47 years Loan Review Commercial / Retail Lending Credit Administration or Regulatory Examination. Preferred


Licenses and Certifications

  • Other RMA Credit Risk Certified within 35 years Preferred
