About the opportunity
Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as an Enrolled Nurse! Were looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our cardiac team on a parttime basis (24/7 rotating roster including AM PM and night shifts).
You will play a key role within a supportive team ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a stateoftheart 340bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As an Enrolled Nurse Cardiac your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe researchedbased standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Minimum 1year acute experience
Med and IV endorsed
Basic cardiac knowledge
ECG interpretation experience
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACSQHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope QLD Nurses Enterprise Agreement (salaries range between $36.74 and $39.78 per hour superannuation)
