Job Description
Job Title:Welder/Fitter Department: Manufacturing
Location: 531 Old Swede Road Douglassville Pennsylvania 19518 This position is onsite and we are looking for people who share our passion for teamwork. Teamwork makes the steel beam work!
Salary:Competitive starting hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
Work Schedule:Fulltime hours MondayFriday 5:00am1:30pm OT hours as available

What Youll Do:
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and schematics (your maps to success).
- Fabricate and assemble structural and machine components.
- Perform SMAW (stick) FCAW (flux core) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes.
- Adjust and set welding equipment properly (because welding blindfolded isnt our style).
- Produce quality welds in flat horizontal vertical and overhead positions.
- Operate cranes forklifts and material handling equipment like a pro.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace (Safety First Steel Second!.
- Engage in crosstraining and continuous development because staying sharp is part of the gig.
What Were Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Proficient in welding (SMAW FCAW GTAW) and equipment use; able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Certifications: AWS D1.1/D14.1 certifications preferred (but not required well help you level up).
- Physical Readiness: Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment safely.
- Communication: Strong English skills (reading writing speaking no smoke signals needed).
- Work Ethic: Hardworking reliable detailoriented and aligned with ACECOs mission vision and values.
- Safety Mindset: Commitment to keeping yourself and your teammates safe every single day.
