32Summary:
The Program Specialist I assumes the primary caretaker role for psychiatric patients ages PreK through adolescents which includes activities of daily living maintaining a safe environment and the management of harmful behaviors. The Program Specialist I also participates in crisis intervention teaching group process and on call as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred
Pediatric experience preferred
CPI NonViolent Crisis Intervention Units 17 & 910 plus the CPI Childrens Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date
Heartsaver CPR within 60 days of start date
CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date
