Job Description
Primoris Energy Services is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler for a project in Abilene TX through the end of the year. This role supports midtolarge scale projects by developing and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 coordinating with project teams and preparing detailed work packages to ensure safe and efficient execution. Requires 5 years of scheduling experience strong Excel skills and the ability to manage schedules per project contracts and budgets. Mechanical and electrical construction background preferred. Job Duties:
Prepare and maintain project schedule using current project systems tool (Primavera P6).
Interface as needed with client representatives to communicate and receive schedule update information.
Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports.
Analyzes project specifications and workload capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine tools and human resource requirements.
Plans and schedules workflow for the project team according to previously established guidelines sequences and lead times.
Confers with project managers and engineers to determine status of assigned projects.
Various other duties as requested by management
Integrate subcontractor schedule into Master Schedule.
Provide timely and accurate updating of project schedules.
Resource loading and analysis of data into schedules as required Primavera.
Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with project staff.
Development of Baseline Schedules.
Manages the development of the overall CPM schedule and assures coordination with the Project Superintendent and the procurement schedule with the Project Engineer.
Monitoring & maintaining the quality of schedule reflection files.
Assist in weekly / monthly project schedule updates with the project team and Subcontractors.
Assist the project team in fragmenting the project schedule when required.
Provides insight to the Project Manager concerning schedule updates as to critical path and near critical path activities and other potential issues with the project schedule.
Assist Project Managers in creating shortterm schedules monitor such schedules to determine impact on master schedule and help in formulating actions to correct scheduling problems.
Assist Project Managers in the development of delay claim impacts.
Assist Project Managers in the development of recovery schedules.
Qualifications/Skills:
Five (5) to ten (10) years of project scheduling experience.
Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling.
Resource loading
Mechanical construction experience
Strong MS Excel skills
Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills.
Perform functions efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision.
Experience in creating managing and analyzing construction project schedules.
Must be detailoriented and have the ability to work well within a deadline driven environment.

Professional attitude and always conduct oneself in a positive manner.
Must respect and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Must be able to perform in a fast paced changing environment.
