Perform and oversee completion of all business office related tasks including but not limited to: accounts payable and receivable (pay invoices review purchase journals handle calls from vendors manage purchase cards) payroll/benefit management needs at Pharmacy level new admits as required to process daily claims order office supplies oversee reception (sign for deliveries vet visitors etc.) mail distribution and all other administrative duties
Manage Order Entry process and personnel
Ensure first dose prescription order billing is accurate prior to dispensing
Manage and ensure all error resolution orders in queue are process daily
Manage refilltosoon rejections process and tracking
Manage the process of handling prescription test claims if required
Promote open communications between internal and external customers to enhance cooperative efforts improve pharmacy production performance
Manage vendor relations (i.e. beverage maintenance and cleaning services)
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS
Associates degree in business; Two (2) years equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement
National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred or as required by state of practice
State licensure or registration as a Pharmacy Technician as required by state of practice
Minimum five (5) years pharmacy billing and business office management experience preferred
