Familyowned and operated since 2001 over the years we have grown to 6 warehouses that service over 1800 customers across 62000 square miles.
However our biggest accomplishment is our team! Starting with just 24 employees we now proudly are home to over 150 employees. We all love what we do and we have fun doing it!
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records across all departments.
- Perform monthend quarterend and yearend close processes including journal entries accruals and account reconciliations.
- Keep up to date records on bank reconciliations and submit them in a timely manner.
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of financial data and strategic planning information.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and selfmotivation in managing projects independently and meeting deadlines without close supervision.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Senior Staff Accountant Senior Financial Analyst or similar role in a corporate accounting or finance environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel including creation and use of pivot tables VLOOKUPs financial modeling and complex formula construction.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problemsolving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain accounting concepts to nonfinancial personnel.
- Strong work ethic selfmotivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA strongly preferred but not required; CFA is a plus.
