Packing Despatch & Stores Operative

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Packing Despatch & Stores Operativeto join a leading precision engineering company in Tamworth on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of a Packing Stores & Despatch Operative:
- Packing finished goods/parts according to customer packing specifications
- Ensuring accurate labelling and documentation for despatch
- Updating records and inputting data using Excel and ERP systems
- Checking stock levels and ensuring correct inventory control
- Identifying and reporting any issues with packing or quality control
- Performing manual stock checks (counting and recording stock levels)
- Data entry and system updates using Excel Office and ERP
- Stock control including F.I.F.O and stock rotation
- General stores operative duties within a precision engineering environment
Requirements for thisrole:
- Previous experience in despatch packing or stores within manufacturing industrial or warehouse environments
- Strong computer literacy able to use Excel and ERP systems confidently
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and report potential issues
- Honest and proactive approach
- Efficient and wellorganised working style
