Holtmeier Construction is seeking aheavy equipment operator to join our fastpaced utility aggregate crushing andquarry teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
Havegeneral insight of outdoor construction in various environments.
Valid drivers licensea commercial drivers license is preferred.
Attention to safety ofself and others at all times.
Excellent attendancearriving to work prepared for the day.
Willingness to listenlearn and communicate with others.
Treat equipment toolsand peers with respect at all times.
Must have the ability topass a physical exam and drug test.
A day in the life as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Holtmeier:
In this position you are part of a team that consists of aforeman equipment operators and general construction workers. Heavy equipmentoperators support our team with operating various pieces of equipment diggingand trenching with regards to OSHA requirements loading trucks demolitionpipe installation footing excavation rough grading fine grading operateequipment with and without GPS capability and operating equipment with certaintask related attachments.
Benefits & Compensation Holtmeier Construction is a union and nonunion equipment operators are generally union positions with I.O.U.E Local Construction offers health insurance and retirement benefits tononunion employees. We generally work 1012hour work days and occasionalSaturdays during the busy season. Pay is based on qualifications.
