Position Summary:
This dualrole position will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also supporting the Transportation Department with administrative duties. The ideal candidate is professional detailoriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
Greet and direct visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer screen and forward incoming phone calls.
Maintain the reception area to be tidy and welcoming.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail packages and deliveries.
Transportation Administrative Support:
Prepare and maintain transportation logs reports and documentation.
Track shipments and update internal systems accordingly.
Support compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training or certification is a plus.
13 years of experience in a receptionist administrative or transportation support role preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
Knowledge of transportation or logistics industry is an asset.
Ability to multitask prioritize and work independently.
