Description
J. Polep Distribution Services is looking for a full time Security Officer to join our team in Chicopee MA.
Position Summary:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers employees and the general public. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks related to detecting and preventing criminal activity theft and the prevention of damage to property. This position is a 2nd shift position Sunday through Thursday working in our Guard Shack.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid Guard Card
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- The ability to communicate effectively with the public management and employees.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or violent crimes
- The ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 hours or more in a climatecontrolled environment.
- Must have CPR First Aid Certification
