Your Mission: As a Maintenance Technician ensure the seamless operation of
production equipment by providing topnotch electrical electronic and mechanical
maintenance. Collaborate with various teams to develop innovative solutions maintain
equipment and stay updated on emerging technologies. Minimal supervision required.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
1. Perform electrical electronic and mechanical maintenance on all production and
auxiliary equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment to as built condition.
3. Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
4. Service equipment to ensure compliance with Quality System procedures and
maintenance work instructions.
5. Monitor machine operation and assist in the development of preventive
maintenance programs for new and rebuilt equipment.
Control Systems and Integration:
1. Integrate and maintain electrical control systems for new and rebuilt machinery
facilities equipment and machine/process improvements.
2. Read and interpret complex schematics and PLC ladder logic programs.
3. Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
Project Participation:
1. Participate in machine modifications capital projects and the specification
building rebuilding installing and fabricating of electrical and electronic control
systems.
2. Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them effectively.
3. Execute corrective and preventive maintenance work orders according to
schedules.
4. Perform project work to improve machine operations.
Safety and Compliance:
1. Ensure all machinery and facilities services comply with safety codes (OSHA NEC
NFPA).
2. Follow all safe work practices including company local state and federal
requirements.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 3 years of industrial maintenance experience or an
Associate Degree in ElectroMechanical Technology Industrial Electronics or a
related field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and control systems.
Proficiency in reading schematics and PLC programming.
Experience with hand tools electronic test equipment soldering and welding.
Ability to drive forklifts and elevated platforms.
Good interpersonal skills and a history of working safely.
Background in electrical work or related training
Work Environment:
Location: Manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor work.
Equipment/Tools Used: Personal computer Fax phone copy machine printers
hand tools powered hand tools.
Physical Requirements:
o Light work (lift 10 lbs): frequently equipment parts assemblies tools.
o Medium work (lift 1130 lbs): frequently equipment parts assemblies
tools.
o Heavy work (lift 3150 lbs): frequently equipment parts assemblies tools
supplies.
o Very Heavy Work (lift over 50 lbs): 23 times/week equipment parts and
assemblies.
o Must be able to move freely throughout the plants facilities and grounds.
