POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of a radiologist the MRI Technologist performs a variety of Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Obtains high quality scans which are interpreted by a radiologist in the evaluation of disease or abnormality. Assists radiologist or other staff physicians in the performance of diagnostic MRI procedures whenever required.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
License: Must be registered by the ARRT. If not ARRTMRI registered must pass MRI registry within one year of accepting the position. Must be licensed by state where required or ARDMS (American registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
