SUSTAINABILITY ADVISOR
This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to get into the sustainability space to do great things for people and the planet.
Youll never be bored and youll be in the fastest growing priority area of a leading Australian construction materials company.
Youll help drive our effort to reduce environmental impact as our Sustainability Advisor.
This role can be based in any of the below locations:
Melbourne Office locations in Doncaster or Derrimut
Sydney Office located in Parramatta
Brisbane Office located in Skygate DFO
In this role you will be quantifying the environmental impacts of our products and business for the purposes of advising customers and managing ratings / certification schemes.
Our customers have growing demands for EPDs lifecycle impact reductions and offsetting while being interesting in reducing impact. You will be pivotal in helping to address these demands.
In your new role you will:
Lifecyle Assessment: Create EPDs and manage the process including identifying and implementing process improvement
Certifications ratings & reporting: Manage and maintain working knowledge on certifications and ratings to be able to meet and exceed customer demands including Greenstar ISC ratings NABERS GECA and others.
Customer lifecycle information & support: Support sales teams and customers in advising on the ratings and certifications.
Support other roles in understanding product lifecycle impacts and train staff to have knowledge required for their roles
This role is a great fit for you if you have:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (environmental sustainability other) or related field preferred.
Previous experience in lifecycle analysis and the construction materials industry will be advantageous but not essential.
Understanding around sustainability concepts (CO2 biodiversity water etc.) desirable.
Be comfortable with reviewing and understanding data.
Be able to explain complex topics to a variety of different stakeholders.
Have a good understanding of product lifecycle concepts.
Ability to travel nationally that may require up to 5 days away from home at a time.
