Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate sound equipment for all On Board Cruise Ship entertainment and events
Conduct sound checks and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal sound quality
Monitor sound levels during performances and adjust as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise with sound equipment
Maintain and organize sound equipment inventory
Collaborate with other crew members and performers to ensure smooth and successful events
Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling sound equipment
Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in sound technology
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sound Technician in a live entertainment setting
Proficient in operating sound equipment such as mixers amplifiers and microphones
Strong understanding of sound principles and systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Valid passport and ability to travel for extended periods of time
