Looking for something a little different Do you like daytoday variety in your practice We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join us as a shared physician providing coverage for leaves/absences in any of our 34 pediatric primary care offices. This position is essential for providing uninterrupted services to patients across our geography as well as supplementing the work being done in each practice.
Position Details:
- 4 Day Work Week (Thursday is standard admin day without patient care responsibilities)
- Rare if any weekend responsibilities (virtual coverage if any)
- No call responsibilities
- Office Hours: MondayFriday 8:00am 5:00pm
- Average Daily Patient Volume: 2224 Patients
- Strictly outpatient clinic no hospital or nursery rounds required
- Practices also include our Virtual Primary Care SchoolBased Virtual Care and Urgent Care Virtual Visit programs so some telehealth is expected.
- On days where there are no specified coverage needs the shared physician will perform Well Child Visits in practices which need additional access for preventative care or if the practice desires the shared physician will provide sick access so that practice providers can increase their WCV access that day
- Patient base is a mix of private and Medicaid patients
- > 2 years of practice experience preferred
