Wilson College invites applications for a FullTime (12month) Faculty position in our hybrid accelerated Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program. We are seeking a dedicated educator who will contribute to highquality teaching student mentorship scholarly activities and service helping to prepare students for professional success in occupational therapy practice.
The faculty member will collaborate with colleagues to ensure highquality education that aligns with accreditation standards the missions of Wilson College and the OTD program and best practices in occupational therapy education. Additionally the role includes advising students guiding doctoral capstone projects and participating in program assessment and faculty governance. Faculty are expected to contribute to a culture of academic excellence innovation and evidencebased practice in preparing students for entrylevel occupational therapy practice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Teaching and Education Responsibilities: The FullTime Faculty member will teach courses as agreed upon with the Program Director and Coordinator of Curriculum that meet the institutional workload requirements and any additional duties as assigned by the Program Director. This position is a remote/hybrid position and will require travel periodically to Pennsylvania throughout the year for intensive lab experiences as well as College functions deemed necessary for the function of the Occupational Therapy program.
Scholarship Responsibilities: Conduct and disseminate research/scholarship activities in accordance with ACOTE accreditation requirements and institutional policies and procedures.
Service Responsibilities: Participate in institutional and professional service opportunities in accordance with ACOTE accreditation and Pennsylvania licensure requirements and institutional policies and procedures.
Professional Development Responsibilities: Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their area of teaching/clinical practice and abide by any licensure professional development standards established by the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure (see ).
