08/01/2025Coordinate distribute supply and resupply inventory for Elementary Science Kits and district science resources throughout the district as well as outofdistrict contracted services. Performs the activities of preparing transferring transcribing systematizing or preserving communications records and transactions.The following statements are illustrative of the essential functions of the job and other key duties that may be required. Reports consistently for work as scheduled

Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
Attends meetings and conferences as required
Develops and implements office procedures and methods to ensure the efficiency of operations
Develops and maintains the Science Center collection including preparation and administration of the Science Center budget; reviewing selection and requisitioning of new science materials; maintenance of comprehensive and efficient system for cataloging all science materials; weeding of obsolete and worn materials from the collection
Evaluates equipment and makes recommendations of purchases
Interprets and explains district rules regulations and procedures to the school science staff
Maintains inventory of supplies; orders and stocks materials and supplies in an effective manner
Maintains Science Center shelves and keeps work areas organized
Maintains records necessary for effective operation of program including annual inventory of all materials and equipment
Maintains uptodate records and inventory files of all science equipment
Maintains various databases reports and office filing systems
Performs a variety of bookkeeping procedures within the department and tracks various district accounts and contracts; reconciles accounts and records; maintains/prepares budget records and summaries
Performs duties with the departmental budget; tracks general fund budget for the director
Plans and implements new systems or major upgrades of existing systems
Prepares and processes reports which require research computation and compilation
Contacts school staff regarding overdue materials/kits
Processes purchase orders and requisitions as required tracks orders as received and maintains records of program purchases
Maintains payroll or other records for guest staff and volunteers
