- Ensure a fun educational and safe environment for all players by fully understanding and enforcing the i9 Sports rulebook.
- Promote sportsmanship and fair play through teaching and demonstrating core concepts.
- Set up and break down game/practice field equipment efficiently.
- Manage time and scorekeeping during games tailoring instruction and competition to ageappropriate levels.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive and encouraging attitude towards players and colleagues.
- Provide superior customer service to participants and their families.
- Assist volunteer coaches during practice sessions by leading drills and answering questions.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive coaching environment.
- Effectively interact with players coaches and spectators fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Possess at least 2 years of experience as a player coach or official in the specific sport.
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to solve problems that arise during shifts independently.
- Prioritize player safety by taking decisive action and displaying proactive awareness of potential risks.
- Maintain a cheerful and encouraging attitude while building strong relationships with players coaches and families.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends and evenings for the season duration (approximately 7 weeks).
- Possess a smartphone with internet access.
- Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check.
