Job Description

THIS POSITION IS ONSITE / NO REMOTE WORK / MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE & WILLINGNESS TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI WITH CI POLYGRAPGH

Overview:
Seeking a UI/UX Designer to support a highimpact federal mission in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing usercentered digital experiences across classified systems ensuring usability accessibility and visual consistency. This role requires handson collaboration with product managers developers and mission stakeholders in a fastpaced secure environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct user research and translate findings into wireframes prototypes and design specifications
  • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides tailored for secure missioncritical applications
  • Optimize workflows and user interactions within security constraints
  • Work alongside frontend developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
  • Advocate for usercentered design in a classified agile development environment
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree in Design HCI or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in UI/UX design preferably supporting government or classified systems
  • Proficiency in Figma Adobe XD or similar design/prototyping tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present design concepts to stakeholders
  • Willingness and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
