As a CNC Machinist in the Optical Fabrication department at Janos Technology in Keene NH you will setup and run CNC equipment to produce high precision optical components
Responsibilities:
- Work from engineering drawings and process work instructions in accordance with established procedures lean processes and standard work.
- Set up and operate CNC diamond turning CNC grinding or CNC polishing machines in support of the production schedule.
- Collect analyze and report data for production processes requiring basic math and statistical knowledge.
- Manually clean optical surfaces using wipes and solvents
- Use metrology equipment to verify conformance of optical components to high precision specifications.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Possesses basic computer skills for entering data reviewing process documentation and operating computercontrolled equipment
- Ability to setup and run CNC manufacturing equipment
- Ability to perform measurements on high precision components
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant CNC machining production experience (examples include CNC Generating CNC Grinding CNC Polishing and CNC Diamond Turning)
- May require occasional heavy lifting (> 30 lbs) or movement of objects up to 40 lbs.
- Involves exposure to chemicals and solvents.
- Safety Glasses & Latex Gloves are required.
- Must read speak and understand English written instruction and documentation
- Must be able to work either 1st shift or 2ndshift work schedule:
1st Shift: 5:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Thursday
2nd Shift: 3:30PM to 2:00AM Monday through Thursday
