Job Details

The Office of the Provost seeks applications for summer student assistants to assist with general office/clerical tasks. Typically working hours vary Monday Thursday between 8 am. 5 pm and Fridays 8 am. 12:30 pm. Serve as point of contact and communication for the Office of the Provost. Greet visitors in a timely and friendly manner. Answer all incoming telephone calls to the office suite promptly providing detailed and accurate messages appropriately. Process all incoming/outgoing paperwork including maintaining an electronic database of all transactions for the Office of the Provost. Work on projects for the Provost office. Perform other duties as assigned. Please note this position is limited to Summer.

Required Qualifications: The applicant must be a CCU student. Maintain a professional and friendly personality at all times and greet all visitors to the office. Must be comfortable answering the phone. Be able to stay organized and juggle multiple tasks at any given time. Be able to type and file. Use Excel to log incoming/outgoing documents.

Preferred Qualifications Prior office experience is preferred but not required.
