Job Description

Responsible for oversight and strategic management of all intensive and court related mental health programs (DCS Criminal Justice Civil Commitment Gatekeeping Wraparound). Lead development implementation and monitoring of services provided under intensive programming. Streamline and standardize program requirements to ensure consistent program delivery and compliance across all locations. Support local leadership with program guidance quality improvement troubleshooting challenges and education.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall direction for courtinvolved/intensive service programs ensuring alignment with Bowen Health values contractual obligations and best practice.
  • Identify gaps in service delivery and opportunities for program expansion or enhancement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of services.
  • Provide support to ensure timely staffing and decision making with all State Psychiatric Network Referrals.
  • Monitor program performance outcomes and workflows. Identify trends and make recommendations/take action for improvements.
  • Serve as a liaison representative to external agencies such as DCS DMHA Courts Criminal Justice Providers as requested by local leaders. This may include representing Bowen Health in meetings court proceedings or other direct communication.
  • Support local teams and leaders in implementing and sustaining programming ensuring programming fits into general Bowen Health procedures as closely as possible.
  • Provide guidance and lead development on program workflows and documentation.
  • Develop maintain and update Bowen Health policy and procedures related to court/intensive services.
  • Collaborate with Bowen Health leaders to ensure program response meets local expectations and needs and aligns with the organizations clinical priorities and best practices.
  • Collaborate with state agencies such as DMHA DCS and Court Service.
  • Provide training and education for local offices.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate others to pursue Bowen Healths shared values and dedication in promoting individual independence recovery and having a meaningful life.
  • Ability to analyze program data and feedback to make sustainable positive change.
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and standards including DMHA CMS Joint Commission DCS Indiana Code.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or higher required.
  • Certificate or Professional License: None required.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of leadership experience in behavioral health court services or human services.
  • Valid drivers license and active liability insurance.
  • Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks.
