Oracle EBS Admin
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Database Administrator with 6 9 years of experience supporting Oracle EBS R12.2 environments. The ideal candidate will have handson expertise in Oracle database administration EBS lifecycle management performance tuning middleware administration and working with both onprem and cloud infrastructures particularly OCI.
You will be part of a collaborative DBA team responsible for both Development and Production environments managing a wide range of vendor and custom built applications.
The ideal candidate will be self driven proactive and comfortable working the early morning shift to align with global operations. This role supports a Tuesday Friday and Sunday work week with Monday and Saturday as weekly offs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform EBS 12.2 installations upgrades migrations and routine maintenance on OnPrem and OCI cloud infrastructure.
Handle cloning patching concurrent manager and DMZ/iSupplier configurations.
Work independently on daily DBA tasks including installations patching code migrations security configurations and system health checks.
Manage database and middleware performance tuning backup/recovery and troubleshooting.
Provide user and application support including password/config changes and integration troubleshooting.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams (OS network security) for holistic issue resolution.
Maintain SRs JiraServiceNow tickets and perform proactive database health monitoring.
Support and maintain ECC Vertex Stat and Oracle SSO integrations.
Administer Oracle RAC and ASM in Exadata environments.
Support WebLogic Oracle Application Server Oracle OAM environments.
Perform JVM tuning SQLPLSQL optimization and monitor systems via OEM.
Plan and perform Oracle EBSdatabase upgrades and migrations.
Ensure HA and DR strategies are defined and implemented.
Contribute to infrastructure automation using scripting and DevOps tools.
Engage with Oracle Support when needed and collaborate with application teams globally.
Preferred Skills & Tools
Cloud experience: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Azure or AWS
Experience with EBS Exadata Oracle Database MS SQL Server Fusion Middleware WebLogic Agile SOA OTMGTM Unifier GRC Hyperion
Proficiency in Window Linux (Oracle Linux Enterprise) and scripting (Bash Perl WLST Python)
Exposure to CICD pipelines Git Jenkins Ansible Terraform Kubernetes Docker
Familiarity with Stat and Vertex installation upgrade and support
Basic Qualifications
Bachelorsmasters degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
6 9 years of hands on experience in: Oracle EBS administration Oracle Database 19c Oracle RAC/ASM/Exadata and Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic SOA Suite).
Proven ability in performance tuning issue troubleshooting and production support
Good scripting and automation experience
Excellent communication problemsolving and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with global teams.
