Job Description
We are looking for a Process Biotechnologist to join a close knit dispensary and clean suites team. The successful candidate will be providing equipment and solutions to support our production team beginning the process for the production of our products and performing final product formulations once completed. The site is expanding so its a great time to join the team to further your career.
The team consists of 4 professionals and we arelooking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is fulltime based at our site in Nottingham just a short walk from the city centre train station and tram stop.
Albumedix is now part of Sartorius a recognised world leader in recombinant human albumin products and technologies.
Grow with us YourResponsibilities
Use of raw materials to produce recipes used to manufacture our products in CNC and clean room grade D C & B environments for the production team to use onsite
Aseptic filling of recombinant human albumin into bioprocess containers
Perform frequent environmental monitoring of site clean rooms to confirm area quality
Inoculation sampling and testing of fermentation cell bank yeast used to manufacture all products on site
To provide fermentation purification and final ultrafiltration support to the production team so they have everything required to complete the manufacturing process
Perform the final formulation of our completed products to meet batch release specifications
Final product inspection and labelling of all fill finish product vials.
To Support the manufacture of Enhanced Service projects
Complete all documentation according to SOPs and follow GMP regulations
Manual handling and physically demanding activities at times (i.e. lifting 25kg bags of salts sugar and more)
Following strict procedures to ensure the quality of each product remains the same

Experience working in a cleanroom environment would be beneficial although candidates from other industries will also be considered (i.e. food and beverage medical devices hospital environment electronics warehouse and stores)
