Freelan is a fastgrowing gaming company based in Karlsruhe Germany. Our team is dedicated to creating unique and innovative gaming experiences for players all around the world. We are looking for a talented and passionate Game Developer to join our team and help us bring our ideas to life.
Position Overview:
As a Game Developer at Freelan you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining our games. You will work closely with our creative team to bring their ideas to life and ensure that our games are engaging fun and visually appealing. This is a fulltime position based in Karlsruhe Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new games from concept to launch
Collaborate with the creative team to develop game ideas and concepts
Write clean efficient and welldocumented code
Optimize games for performance and user experience
Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices
Continuously improve and update existing games
Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Game Development or a related field
2 years of experience in game development
Proficient in C C# or other programming languages
Strong understanding of game design principles
Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal
Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation
Familiarity with mobile and web game development
Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Passion for gaming and staying uptodate with industry trends
Fluent in English German language skills are a plus
