Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a Sustainable Housing Support Officer on a 2.5month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 17.59 21.89 per Hour
Summary:
Enfields Street Homelessness Service is dedicated to achieving the Councils goal of ending rough sleeping. As a Sustainable Housing Support Officer you will deliver proactive support to vulnerable applicants helping them sustain their accommodation and live independently. You will work closely with internal and external partners to deliver housing support across various projects including those in the Private Rented Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver proactive tenancy sustainment support to clients with complex needs.
- Manage a caseload and maintain detailed timely case records.
- Design implement and review Sustainable Housing Support Plans.
- Support clients to access services reduce debts and maximise income.
- Collaborate with partners across social care health voluntary and legal sectors.
Qualifications:
- High level of education or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
Experience Required:
- Providing housing support to people who have experienced homelessness including those with multiple complex needs.
- Designing and implementing housing support plans.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external agencies.
- Managing caseloads in compliance with safeguarding and legal requirements.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
