Job Description
Erosion Control Installation and Maintenance/New Construction Landscape Maintenance Foreman Position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install Erosion Control using plans provided
- Inspection of Erosion Control to make sure silt is not leaving the construction site and recording the findings in a book.
- If necessary clean and repair erosion control systems.
- Some new construction landscape contracts require us to maintain the landscape for a period of time usually between 1 month and 1 year after the install. Set up and maintain a temporary irrigation system. Mow trim grass and keep sidewalks and parking lots cleaned up. We will teach and mentor willing employees.
- Be able to supervise another person at times when tasks require more than one person to do the job.
- Operate our Hydromulchers to install Hydromulch.
- Have a good driving record and willing to get a CDL.
- Have a clean background check so you can get on Ft. Riley and/or NBAF to work
- Work with other Landscape crews as necessary when your work is caught up.
- Operates skidsteers rototillers trenchers chainsaws sod cutters brick saws and any other landscape equipment necessary
- Snow Removal including snow plowing and shoveling in the winter months
- Other duties as required
- Able to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis
