About the Role
The Quantity Surveyor/Estimator is crucial role within a dynamic team working across various functions essential to the successful delivery of development projects. The post holder will be responsible for managing estimating quantity surveying and prework surveying tasks ensuring that projects are costed accurately from the outset and that financial controls are maintained throughout. This includes preparing detailed cost estimates conducting feasibility studies and assisting with the procurement process. Additionally the role involves collaborating closely with design construction and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and to the agreed specifications.
A key aspect of the role is the responsibility for submitting and agreeing Final Accounts for projects. The post holder will be required to track and document all project costs manage any variations and assist in negotiating final settlements with contractors.
