The SCPD Policy Administrator plays a pivotalpart with the Councils position as a liaison between the policy makers andpeople with disabilities living in Delaware.A significant aspect of the duties involves promoting the coordinationamong all state programs relating to persons with disabilities assist withreviewing all state policies plans programs and activities concerning personswith disabilities which are conducted or assisted in whole or part by statedepartments agencies or funds to determine whether such policies programsplans and activities effectively meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
Assist the State Council for Persons with Disabilitieswith making recommendations to the Governor the General Assembly and all statedepartments and agencies respecting ways to improve the administration ofservices for persons with disabilities.
This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a nonpension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
