Job Description
The Production Shift Manager will coordinate the production maintenance and sanitation within the assigned area. The shift Manager will work towards achieving the goal of producing highquality cost effective potato products. The Production Shift Manager directs the personnel assigned to him or her in the areas of: job training assignment of duties prioritization of tasks timekeeping record keeping employee relations corrective actions safety performance management and employee communications. This position works only 14 days a month on 12 hour shifts and receives pay and benefits as a full time employee.
Knowledge and Skills: Experience in a manufacturing environment managing a team of employees production processes quality and safety. Knowledge of food safety and GMPs; Must be able to read understand and adjust when necessary gauges meters and computerized controls; Ability to keep accurate complete and legible records in English.
