Our team leverages business expertise innovative techniques and technology to create easytoaccess learning solutions that drive business outcomes and make it easier for clients to do business with Freddie Mac.

Your Impact:

In this position you will be an integral part of developing and executing businessoriented learning strategies for various projects focused on mortgage Selling & Delivery and/or Servicing policies and technical tool initiatives. Utilize your technical writing skills analytical skills consultative problem solving instructional design and project management skills to provide clear and easytounderstand instructions to our clients.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Researching outlining writing and editing learning content for different delivery methods including online help user guides/training manuals job aids and reference tools for technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Expanding existing department technical writing standards documenting new/expanded standards and championing their use across the department.

  • Utilizing consultative and business analytical skills to perform needs and/or gap analysis to create training/education plans to meet client needs and support Freddie Macs business goals.

  • Partnering closely with agile teams and other internal business partners in a quickly changing and complex environment to lead development and execution of training solutions.

  • Creating and updating training deliverables to meet fast paced timelines.

  • Creating managing and executing project plans.

  • Leading the endtoend development of training curriculum for Selling & Delivery and/or Servicing tools projects and policies.

  • Editing materials for clarity consistency and instructional soundness while continually looking for ways to improve them.

  • Facilitating crossfunctional meetings to obtain information and resolve issues.

  • Leveraging learning industry trends to deliver innovation and positive learning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized understanding and interest in the mortgage industry; prior demonstrated experience in Selling & Delivery and/or Servicing a plus.

  • Proven experience with instructional design/learning experience design for complex topics.

  • Proven business and technical analysis and writing skills.

  • Solid consultative skills.

  • Ability to build and manage business partner and client relationships.

  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills and detail orientation.

  • Ability to work independently and with a collaborative team.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to work with Agile teams.

  • Proficiency with switching between projects and prioritizing competing priorities.

  • Ability to comprehend complex client inquires in highpressure situations and deliver accurate responses aligned with corporate policies.

  • Experience in web publishing a plus.

  • Bachelors or masters degree with 57 years of relevant experience.

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Proven professional technical writing skills and indepth knowledge of correct grammar.

  • Experience defining and following writing standards such as APA Guidelines.

  • Proven experience with instructional design/learning experience design and technical writing for complex topics.

  • Ability to analyze business processes systems policies and changes then translate that analysis into learning solutions.

  • Ability to work effectively with technical resources to solve content publishing and other technical challenges (as needed).

  • Nimbleness and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to keep up to date with a rapidly changing business environment.

  • Collaborative and executionoriented mindset.

  • Be selfdirected.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint/Excel/Word Adobe Acrobat RoboHelp Articulate 360 SnagIt and/or other eLearning authoring tools.

This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $98000 $148000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
