Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance activities including but not limited to pump rebuilds preventative maintenance basic installations of pipe electric work forklift operations.
- Performs basic and intermediate level repairs and upkeep in welding electrical pipe fitting mechanic pneumatic and hydraulic.
- Directs the activities of lowerlevel maintenance personnel on larger more complex maintenance activities.
- Works independently on facility projects and maintenance.
- Operates a forklift if required and trained. Responsible for performing and documenting a daily safety check prior to operating.
- Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes.
- Ensures understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years general experience
- Basic knowledge of plant equipment and applications
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in welding
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in pipe fitting
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in mechanic work
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in electrical work
- Trade experience
- Able to navigate preventative maintenance software applications
- Forklift certified
