Responsibilities
  • Performs maintenance activities including but not limited to pump rebuilds preventative maintenance basic installations of pipe electric work forklift operations.
  • Performs basic and intermediate level repairs and upkeep in welding electrical pipe fitting mechanic pneumatic and hydraulic.
  • Directs the activities of lowerlevel maintenance personnel on larger more complex maintenance activities.
  • Works independently on facility projects and maintenance.
  • Operates a forklift if required and trained. Responsible for performing and documenting a daily safety check prior to operating.
  • Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes.
  • Ensures understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards. Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.


Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years general experience
  • Basic knowledge of plant equipment and applications
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in welding
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in pipe fitting
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in mechanic work
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in electrical work
  • Trade experience
  • Able to navigate preventative maintenance software applications
  • Forklift certified
