Job Description

Position Title:

Seasonal Farm Laborer

Appointment Type:

Professional & Scientific

Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

agriculture experience

operation of small construction tools

ability to count and collect data

ability to work in hot dusty areas with pollen and dust

Job Description:

Duties involve mowing weeding trimming delivering supplies custodial duties taking research plot data (stand counts corn silk counts soybean flowering counts analyze small grain samples and other facility needs. The candidate may also be asked to help with other field research activities. We prefer someone with a strong Ag background and driving experience. In addition this position could help with facility maintenance and should be comfortable operating small construction tools.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
